DfiStarter Platform IDO Participation Tutorial
DfiStarter is the first multi-chain project accelerator within the Dfinity ecosystem. Please ensure you read through the IDO process for the ETH blockchain to ensure a smooth IDO experience. It is important to note that during this IDO process, your wallet should have more than 0.05 ETH reserved to ensure the transaction can proceed without issues. This Port3 IDO mechanism is exclusively available to whitelisted addresses only.
Participants in the whitelist round must check whether their ETH address is whitelisted and ensure that there is sufficient ETH in that address. Please verify your whitelist status in the official announcement. After the IDO ends, the $PORT3 token will be automatically distributed to the participating address.
Here are the steps to participate in the IDO:
Step 1: Log into the DfiStarter website:

Step 2: Access the Launchpad page and connect your wallet:
Click on “Launchpad” on the homepage, which will redirect you to the Launchpad page, then connect your wallet (this tutorial uses Metamask as an example). Please ensure that your wallet network is set to the Ethereum mainnet.
Step 3: Transfer ETH to your whitelisted address:
Withdraw more than 0.05 ETH from an exchange or any Ethereum wallet with $ETH to your whitelisted address, making sure the transfer network is the Ethereum mainnet (ERC20).
Step 4: Participate in the PORT3 IDO:
Once your wallet is successfully connected, click on “Projects.”
Find the Port3 IDO section and click “Enter” to participate in the IDO.
On the IDO page, you can view the basic information about the IDO project and your personal share. The IDO share for this event is 100 USDT (approximately 0.05 ETH).
After confirming the information is correct, please click “Stake” and proceed to interact with the contract. In the pop-up transaction page, click to confirm.
Once the transaction is successful, the whitelist pool will display the amount you have staked and the token allocation, meaning you have successfully completed the IDO.
Step 5: Claim your $PORT3 Token:
After a successful IDO, please claim your $PORT3 token on the IDO interface. This action requires manual execution by the user and will consume a small amount of gas, so please ensure your wallet address has enough gas.
