Dfistarter Community Update #1 — Building strong foundations for long-term success
We are extremely thrilled to share very exciting news with you all. It has been an exhilarating and fulfilling month of action for us here at Dfistarter. But first things first, we want to start by telling how grateful we are for your continued support and positive energy. It’s hard to come up with adequate words to describe how much our community means to us. Thank you so much to all of you for making Dfistarter stronger everyday.
We know you were eagerly waiting for the first Dfistarter update but there were a number of reasons we didn’t share more earlier. Since Dfinity Mercury Genesis Event a lot of hard work has been going on behind the scenes. We believe the wait was worth it because significant progress have been made. Most importantly, our recent progress should be considered as cornerstones, they lay strong foundations for Dfistarter long term success. Building strong foundations is of utmost importance for any ambitious early stage project and yet very often overlooked. The team can now accelerate the project execution in an optimal environment.
1- Dfistarter meets Dfinity
Dfinity is still in its infancy, this is just the beginning of an extraordinary journey during which Dfistarter aims to accomplish big things for the ecosystem. It is not an overstatement to say that the technology behind the internet computer is absolutely revolutionary. We had to do extensive research. You might not know but Dfinity has carefully designed a process to onboard the best projects in order to bootstrap a healthy ecosystem in the long run. More precisely, Dfinity brings new and exclusive development methods as well as programming languages, developers actually need to apply to get the development kit.
We are extremely happy to announce that Dfistarter is now in contact with Dfinity. An important meeting happened last week which was very helpful and insightful. We must say that we were greatly impressed by the high standards set by Dfinity and we ended this successful meeting with an ambition infinitely bigger than ever. Technical tools including testing and debugging tools will be made available to us once test network goes live. Dfistarter team is currently accelerating the development and communication process with Dfinity team.
Last but not least, Dfistarter team has also submitted a developer grant application, we will keep you updated once we receive an answer.
2- Dfistarter unveils 10 tech services under active development
Dfistarter is an infrastructure project with the ambitious vision of becoming the keystone of Dfinity ecosystem and an accelerator for the Internet Computer mainstream adoption. We aim at helping the myriad of builders coming to Dfinity with an optimal development environment, by providing an extensive range of tech services. That’s why our main focus and highest priority right now is technology development.
Are you ready ? This is a big moment in Dfistarter’s life, we are unveiling 10 tech services to our fantastic community. We are proud to announce that they are all under development and will be provided to all projects building with Dfistarter.
The 10 tech services provided by Dfistarter are :
1. A one-click function for deployment and issuance of tokens with customizable configuration parameters
2. A one-click function for fundraising with customizable configuration parameters
3. A large number of mainstream DApp contracts and DApp front-end services with customizable configuration parameters
4. A large number of independent cross-chain Oracle services that can coordinate with DApps
5. A one-click function for liquidity mining on the major DEX/Swap with customizable configuration parameters
6. Fast communication channels with decentralized exchanges
7. Fast communication channels/tools with capitals
8. Fast and professional communication channels/tools with communities
9. Fast and professional communication channels/tools for marketing
10. Fast and professional communication channels/tools for distributed online operations
Again we want to reiterate that all our tech services are under active development and that we are currently accelerating our development process. We look forward to bringing our technological achievements to Dfinity ecosystem. They will open a whole new world of possibilities to the ever increasing projects building on Dfinity all over the world.
3- Brand new Dfistarter website
As things get serious and our community gets stronger day by day, it is high time to showcase Dfistarter with a brand new website. The new official Dfistarter website will be displayed next week with design interaction and content optimized. We received a lot of questions from our community members and many of them will be answered next week. Indeed important sections will be added to our new website such as a technical section, a project roadmap, the team.
Closing thoughts:
We strongly believe that the Internet Computer will shape our future and change the world for the better. There is still so much to be done before mainstream adoption, rest assured the team is hard at work and the future is bright. We hope you are as much excited as we are!
In an effort to better communicate our progress with Dfistarter community members, we will be publishing periodic community updates. These updates will discuss both our short-term and long-term goals, how the team is thinking about Dfistarter’s strategy on all fronts, and whatever else may be on Dfistarter team’s mind moving forward.
